Over the past year, the market changed from despair to hope to despair to hope again. Although some excitement is back, we’re probably not out of the woods yet. DeFi and NFT bags are still heavy. But there is a lot of activity that is not reflected in market prices.
As in previous bear markets, the builders keep buidling. Layer-2 networks are laying the foundations for new types of applications, scalable and cheap. New wallets are making it safer and easier to access Web3. Creators are pushing the boundaries for NFTs beyond PFPs.
But you already know this.
The tourists left when the “numba go up” party stopped. Only the locals are still here. If you’re reading this – you are a Web3 citizen.
There are a lot of reasons to be wary of web3 these days. A seemingly never ending stream of scams, hacks, and rug pulls are a few of the anxiety-inducing headlines that builders, creators, and investors are confronted with on crypto’s frontlines.
But people all over the world are still building, minting, trading, and collecting. Regardless of market prices, these people believe now more than ever in the potential of crypto to change the way we live.
Dozens of people shared their reasons with us during EthCC.
We want to hear more of these stories and share them with others.
To do this, we are partnering with UFO, the pioneering Web3 radio, to launch a new podcast: Still Here.
In each episode, Alex Guy, Head of Growth at Zerion, will interview one Web3 citizen who is still here, doing groundbreaking work in this space.
How did they get into Web3?
Why are they still here? What is driving them to build?
What future do they see that others don't yet recognize?
These are some of the questions we will cover in the upcoming episodes.
The list of confirmed guests includes:
Enso Collective’s Jules Worring
Orb’s Nilesh Rathore
Crypto Maze’s Alex Evans
And more!

To amplify the voices of Web3 citizens beyond Zerion, we’re partnering with the UFO network of podcasts.
UFO is a place for revolutionary ideas. An onchain radio and club for music, arts and ideas. A collective signal from a network of metalabels, artists, musicians, writers, builders and travelers.
The UFO podcast hosted by Nick Hollins began in September 2022 and Zerion has been a sponsor and partner since the very beginning!
Zerion’s new podcast Still Here will become the second regular program on UFO’s onchain radio network.
